The Tuff-Writer Precision Press series tactical pens not only provide
a nice level of self-defense they sign a mean contract to boot.

Tuff-Writer Tactical Pens hit the scene a few years ago, quickly making a name for itself as a manufacturer of first class, tough tactical pens. Tuff-Writer owners, Jack and Leslie Roman, are young entrepreneurs living the American dream, building their tactical pen company from scratch (no pun intended) and continuing to work hard at adding new product to expand their line.

If you’re new to tactical pens or just want a pen willing and able to serve double duty, the Precision Press series is for you. The Precision Press pen is 6.0 inches in overall length and has a stylish, horizontally fluted pattern up the barrel, not unlike bamboo. This design offers a comfortable grip, made even more sure by a series of three rubber O-rings at the joint of each flute. A top-shelf Fisher SPR4 Parker gel cartridge is accessed by pressing down a chrome plunger on the rear tip, an arrangement most of us are familiar with. When not in use, a 2.0-inch pocket clip keeps the pen safely stowed in the pocket, briefcase, purse, or EDC bag.

Tuff-Writer’s Precision Press is available in machined aluminum on standard models, or you can go upscale with Titanium. Both are available in a nice range of color and finish options. In the pocket, the aluminum model checks in at 1.8 ounces. The fit and finish on Tuff-Writer pens leaves nothing to be desired with matching pencil models available for those who’d like a set. Better yet, you’ll always have a viable means of self-defense at the ready should more lethal options not be available –– and you can’t put a price on that peace of mind. Tuff-Writer Precision Press Pens have a suggested retail range of $85.95 to $210, depending on materials and finish.
