Ruger 10/22 Carbon Fiber
Light, Fast & Precise
Ruger’s 10/22 Carbon Fiber takes the familiar 10/22 platform and turns it into something far more serious. At just about 3.5 pounds, this rifle pairs a stainless barrel with a carbon fiber sleeve, delivering accuracy without the weight.
Housed in a Magpul stock, the rifle is compact (16.1″ barrel, roughly 34″ overall) and ready to run. It features M-LOK slots, a factory scope rail, extended magazine release and a match bolt release. The BX-style trigger, breaking around 2.5 – 3 pounds, is crisp and clean — exactly what you want in a precision rimfire.
The real story, though, is performance. With the right ammo — in this case, CCI subsonic — this rifle consistently prints one-hole groups at 25 yards and near one-hole clusters at 50 yards. Any flyers? That’s on the shooter, not the gun.
It’s also threaded, making it an ideal suppressor host — something that pairs perfectly with subsonic .22 LR for quiet, accurate shooting sessions.
At an MSRP around $679, it’s a standout value. Building a comparable 10/22 from scratch with aftermarket parts could easily double that cost. The only mistake? Pairing a rifle like this with a bargain-bin optic. A quality scope unlocks what this platform can really do.
Bottom line: if you’ve never owned a truly accurate rimfire, this is your wake-up call. Lightweight, precise and endlessly fun, the Ruger 10/22 Carbon Fiber proves just how far the platform has come.
