Buck 722 Spitfire Knife

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, I recently got to tour the Buck Knife factory in Post Falls, Idaho, and one of the knives I came home with was a Buck 722 Spitfire. After carrying it for a while, I’d say this solid knife really hits the sweet spot between value and quality.

The knife isn’t fancy — a plus in my book — it’s “merely” a well-designed, quality-built everyday carry, USA-made blade at a price that won’t have you opening a vein if you happen to lose the Spitfire. Of course, if it gets badly damaged, Buck will at least consider repair/replacement under their unconditional lifetime warranty.

The 3 ¼” drop point blade with thumb hole is made from 420 HC steel and is mated to slab aluminum handles in three colors. There is a reversible pocket clip and the folder is a reasonable 4 ½” in your pocket. You can also get the handle laser engraved.

MSRP: $49.99
