Since its introduction, the AR15 has become the undisputed all-time champ in one singular category. As a platform for aftermarket parts, accessories and assorted performance and/or ergonomic enhancements, it is unsurpassed. You could combine the 1911 and Ruger 10/22 and they wouldn’t come close to equaling Stoner’s Black Gun in this regard.
Armaspec is a Burlingame, California, company specializing in AR products offering—in their words—a “tactical advantage.” Their product lineup is an extensive mix of AR-centric improvements. Two of their best are the Stealth Recoil Spring and Rhino R-23 Tactical Magwell Grip and Funnel.
The SRS is designed to reduce felt recoil as well as keep the spring from rubbing against the inner walls of the buffer tube. An O-ring ring at the top of the buffer prevents metal on metal contact. It comes in five versions.

will enhance how your AR performs and how you perform with it. Also shown
is the company’s red-anodized extended magazine release.
The Rhino R-23 will reduce magazine change times significantly (up to 48 percent according the company) while offering a 60-degree insertion angle. More significantly, it allows you to change magazines without taking your eyes off the target.
Armaspec is interested in improving performance (1) of the mechanics of the AR itself and (2) what the user can accomplish with it—from an ergonomic standpoint—in terms of speed and accuracy. The SRS and R-23 each address one of these goals. www.armaspec.com
