TaurusTX 22 Competition SCR Prize Package

The gun of the month for February is the Taurus TX22 Competition SCR (Steel Challenge Ready). It’s built on the original TaurusTX 22 Competition design with its precision-engineered slide and match-grade bull barrel. The “skeletonized” slide with a custom enlarged ejection port is designed to allow a red dot optic to be mounted on the barrel and help prevent any issue during ejection of empty shells. The TX22 Competition SCR in .22LR has a 16-round capacity and comes with three magazines. It has a fixed white dot front sight and an adjustable white dot rear sight. Features include an ambidextrous safety, a custom bull barrel and polished feed ramp, a TandemKross Game Changer PRO squared compensator; TandemKross “Eagle’s Talon” aftermarket extractor; Picatinny rail, threaded barrel and the Taurus Optic Ready Option T.O.R.O. The TX22’s full frame is made of polymer, slide is aluminum and the barrel alloy steel.

A flashlight doesn’t need to be round. Look at Streamlight’s Wedge, one of the new crop of reliable rechargeable lights. At 5.46" long, just under an inch wide and 5/8" thick, the flat-shaped Wedge slides into the pocket easily. And it delivers a constant 300 lumens of light! Truly a useful, portable, EDC light.

CRKT called the Squid, designed by Lucas Burnley, “a fan-favorite compact carry.” The Squid XM has the same features but larger, with a longer blade to handle tasks both big and small. The Squid XM’s 2.95" blade is made of D2 steel with a stonewash finish. A flipper and a ball bearing pivot deploy the blade fast and smoothly. The handle is G10 and stainless steel. OAL is 7.03"; weight is 3.60 oz.

The TX22 Competition SCR, CRKT’s Squid XM and the Streamlight Wedge flashlight — all these could be yours. Enter now!
