Osight S Pistol Optic
I typically spend days and weeks using a product before I consider recommending it. However, the Osight S Pistol Optic is so unusual it merits a mention before I actually take her for a spin.
Osight’s new pistol optics incorporate many of the standard features of other products in this category — 7075 aluminum housing, RMS or RMSc footprint, a multi-reticle system, adjustable light sensor and more. Those things are great but frankly, the space is pretty crowded with similar models at comparable price points. However, one thing dramatically sets Osight apart: rechargeable power and a unique magnetic charging cover with battery meter.
This rechargeable battery/charging cover/meter system is a feature I predict you’re going to see widely duplicated by other manufacturers within a few years. Does it all work as described, and is it reliable? I don’t know yet but the Osight Optic is so unlike anything else available today, it was worth a preview!
