If Oppenheimer had invented the KINETIC, he would have said, “Now I am become Death, destroyer of troublemakers.” Essentially a 69-grain hard plastic saboted slug somewhat resembling the first atomic bomb, it hits with authority but generally won’t break the skin. The closer the target, the greater the authority! The projectile’s tailfins allow it to be accurately placed on targets out to 100 feet provided there’s no wind.
There’s no recoil, no smoke and barely any report because there’s no powder charge in the special plastic casing. The sabot is driven by the primer alone and intended for pump and break-open shotguns with chokes no tighter than Improved Cylinder. It can’t cycle the actions of semi-automatic shotguns but can be single loaded. They are legal to possess in all states but can’t be shipped to 10 states. I’m sure you can guess which 10.
