  1. I was very interested in the new Smith model 69 and when I saw one in Cabela’s I had to test the feel and fit. Since Smith and Wesson revolvers have long been known for the quality of their triggers I was shocked when the trigger on this model 69 was almost too heavy for me to pull. The trigger’s pull weight must have been at least 15 pounds. The trigger on my Ruger Alaskan is much more user friendly and the Taurus double action trigger is the best I’ve ever felt. WTF Smith and Wesson? How do you justify such an awful trigger?
